Ivan is a licensed lawyer from Mexico. He graduated from law school in 2006 and received his taxation specialist degree from the Universidad Panamericana in 2007. In 2009 he obtained his LL.M. degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. In the years 2007 and 2008, Ivan worked for the Ministry of Finance of Mexico City’s Government, where he mainly gained experience in the areas of property tax, administrative procedures applicable to the acquisition and management of real property and, in general, the taxation regime of that jurisdiction. During law school, he practiced in a law firm specialized in the development of public and private energy projects in Mexico, including projects in the electricity, oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. Additionally, Ivan carried out an internship in the legal department of PEMEX - Gas and Basic Petrochemical, drafting gas supply contracts and reviewing public bidding conditions for the acquisition of products and the execution of public works. Prior to partnering with SOLORZANO CORPORATION, Augusto has served for 8 years as a Mexico and Latin America Manager for a Canadian company involved in the Oil and Gas Sector, which has been very successful in various parts of the world (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates). His roles have involved high-level financial responsibilities and decisions involving new representations, business development, risk assessment and formulating strategies associated with doing business internationally.
Augusto has significant experience in the Oil and Gas Sector assisting companies to develop and set up their international operations in Mexico and some parts of Latin America such as Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica.

Jorge is an Accountant and Manager from Mexico having worked in the private and public sector in Mexico and private sector in Canada. Prior to joining Solorzano Corporation Jorge accumulated over 16 years of managerial and accounting experience in the service industry for both Mexican and Canadian Companies. Carlos is a licensed lawyer from Mexico, having worked primarily on corporate and commercial issues, particularly structuring foreign investments to comply with Mexican laws. He has extensive experience regarding the formation of corporations and limited liability companies (its equivalents in Mexico), negotiation and implementation of joint ventures and strategic alliances and real estate transactions involving commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.
Prior to partnering for the launching of SOLORZANO CORPORATION, Carlos served for 3 years as a consultant with the Canadian Law Firm Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, assisting several clients on successfully establishing their businesses in Mexico. From 2002 until to 2005 Carlos worked for the Mexican Consulate in Calgary promoting investment from Alberta to Mexico by providing potential investors with guidelines for conducting business in Mexico. Before moving to Canada in 2002, Carlos practiced law with top tier law firms in Mexico representing Mexican and non-Mexican clients.
Carlos law degree is from Technological Institute Autonomous of Mexico (ITAM) where he graduated in 1998 and obtained his law degree by defending the thesis “Municipal Bond, an alternative for the financing of municipal governments”.
